Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026Last updated October 16, 2026
What changed on October 16, 2026
- If you use Vector through a coaching firm, the firm can choose which parts of Vector you use. Your privacy settings, downloading your data and deleting your account are never part of it (section 7).
It changes no plan or price, and shares nothing new about you, so this applies from October 16, 2026, with no notice period.
What changed on October 13, 2026
- Vector Global Talent: what it is, that the BPO hires and Vector never places anyone, and who pays for it (sections 2 and 10).
Nothing changes for you unless you join Vector Global Talent or use it to hire, so this applies from October 13, 2026, with no notice period.
What changed on October 10, 2026
- Free trials are now 7 days, or longer if you join through a partner’s link that offers one. While a trial runs, the things a plan counts have smaller allowances; the plan’s full allowances start when the trial ends. A coaching firm’s trial has room for up to 3 clients, who get the firm plan’s full allowances (section 10).
This applies to trials started from October 10, 2026. A trial that was already running keeps its length and its plan’s allowances.
What changed on October 2, 2026
- Direct Assistance: if a company that sponsors your account offers it, you can choose to work with a helper from its HR or Recruiting team, and what a company and its helpers agree to (section 7). How companies pay for outplacement (section 10).
Nothing changes for you unless you choose a helper, and you’re asked when you do, so this applies from October 2, 2026.
What changed on October 1, 2026
- If you turn on easy mode’s “submit for me”, each application it submits for you is your action (section 4).
- The free Networking plan, and how free trials work (section 10).
- Refer & Earn: how rewards are earned and paid (section 11, a new section; the sections after it moved up one number).
If your account was created before October 1, 2026, the changes take effect for your account on October 31, 2026, 30 days after we told you about them in the app (section 19).
In short
- Vector is a tool for running your own job search. It is not a recruiter or an employment agency, and it doesn't promise you a job.
- Vector researches and drafts. You decide what is sent, submitted or shared, and you're responsible for it.
- What Vector writes is generated by AI and can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it.
- Your content stays yours. We use it to run the service for you, and we don't sell it.
- Paid plans renew until you cancel. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
1.Who these terms are with
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Torri Granger LLC dba Vector JSOS (“Vector”, “we”, “us”), which operates the Vector job search service at vectorjsos.ai, app.vectorjsos.ai, and the Vector browser extension (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, such as a coaching firm, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so; “you” then includes that company.
2.What Vector is, and what it isn't
Vector helps you run a job search: it researches companies and roles, finds people worth reaching, drafts outreach and application materials, builds pages you can share with a hiring team, and keeps track of your progress.
Vector is not a recruiter, staffing firm or employment agency. We do not represent you to employers or place candidates, and we don’t receive fees from employers for hiring you, except as described for Vector Global Talent below. We don’t guarantee interviews, offers, compensation or any other outcome.
Vector Global Talent. Anyone can join Vector Global Talent free, take the Vector Assessment, and choose to be seen by BPO companies that hire for the work they want (what a BPO sees, and when, is in our Privacy Policy). A BPO decides whom to interview and hire, employs the people it hires, and is responsible for the job it offers. Vector doesn’t employ anyone, place anyone in a job, or make a BPO’s hiring decisions. A company that needs seats filled is introduced to BPOs and contracts with the BPO for the seats, not with Vector. BPOs and those companies pay Vector on terms agreed with each, which can include a fee when a BPO hires someone it found on Vector Global Talent or a company contracts seats; the people who join never pay for it. An assessment result records one timed sitting on Vector; it is not a guarantee of anyone’s skills or of a job. If you are a BPO, you agree to use what you see only to recruit for real roles, to contact a person only after they accept your interest, and not to share what they share with you outside your company.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@vectorjsos.ai if you think someone else has used it.
- If you were invited by a coaching firm, sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to.
4.You decide, and you're responsible for what you send
Vector prepares; you act. Nothing is applied to, sent, submitted or shared without a decision you make. When you send a message, submit an application (including one the extension filled in for you), share a page, or contact a person Vector found, that is your action, and you’re responsible for it, including:
- that what you send about yourself is true;
- that you contact people lawfully and respectfully, following anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and the recipient, and stopping when someone asks you to;
- that you follow the terms of the sites and applicant tracking systems you apply through.
If you turn on easy mode’s “submit for me”, each application it submits for you while that setting is on is also your action, and you’re responsible for checking that the details and answers you saved for it are true and current. You can turn it off at any time, in Settings or for a single run in the extension.
5.AI-generated content
Much of what Vector produces (research, summaries, fit assessments, drafts, briefs and coaching) is generated by AI models from public sources and from what you give us. It can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, including facts about companies and people. Review it before you rely on it or send it. It isn’t legal, financial, tax or professional career advice; for decisions like accepting an offer, consult a qualified adviser.
6.Your content
“Your content” is what you put into the Service (résumés, notes, strategy, offers and messages) and what the Service produces for you from it. You own your content. You give us a limited license to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you, to secure it, and to comply with law. We don’t sell your content, and we don’t use it to advertise to you.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so doesn’t break a confidentiality obligation (for example, don’t upload an employer’s confidential documents).
7.Coaching firms and their clients
If you use Vector through a coaching firm, the firm and the coaches it assigns to you can see your search in Vector (your pursuits, progress, materials and the notes you share with them) so that they can coach you. Your firm’s agreement with you governs your coaching relationship; these Terms govern your use of the Service.
Your firm can choose which parts of Vector you use. A coaching firm can switch some features off for its clients, for example to focus you on interview practice for now, and Vector tells you when it has. Your privacy settings, downloading your data and deleting your account are always yours, whatever your firm chooses. It doesn’t change your plan or its price.
If you are a firm, you are responsible for your coaches’ use of the Service, for having your clients’ permission to invite them, and for using what you see only to coach them.
Helpers from a company that sponsors you (Direct Assistance). If a former employer sponsors your account and offers it, you may choose to work with a member of its HR or Recruiting team as your helper. Your helper sees only what you choose, as described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy, and you can change that or stop at any time. A helper is not your employer’s representative in any dispute and is not giving legal, financial or employment advice; working with one, or not, has no effect on your sponsorship.
If you are a company offering Direct Assistance, you agree that your helpers will use what they see in Vector only to help the person who chose them; will not use it, or share it inside your company, for any employment, reference, severance, litigation or other decision about that person; will not ask anyone to choose a helper as a condition of anything; and will keep what they see confidential. You are responsible for your helpers’ use of the Service. What your helpers do is recorded in Vector, and the person helped can read that record.
8.Pages you share
Some things Vector makes can be shared by link, such as a dossier you send to a hiring team. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it only with the people you mean to. To show you whether a page is working, Vector records when a shared page is opened, and approximately where (city, region and country, when that can be told from the request). You can revoke a link at any time.
9.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to harass, deceive or spam anyone, or to impersonate anyone;
- use information about people that you obtained through Vector for anything but your own job search or, for firms, coaching your clients; in particular, don’t sell it, publish it, or build a list from it;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, or access it by automated means other than the ones we provide;
- probe, overload or break its security, or access another user’s account or data;
- use the Service for anything unlawful or to discriminate against anyone.
We may suspend accounts that do these things.
10.Plans, trials and payment
- The Networking plan is free and needs no card. It includes your contacts, Open Doors and answering other people’s, within the limits shown in the app. We may change what it includes, and we’ll tell you before a change takes effect. If your paid plan or trial ends, your account moves to the Networking plan: you keep your contacts and Open Doors, and the paid features stop.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you subscribe and may include usage limits per month.
- Your first paid plan can start with a free trial, and its length is shown when you start it (currently 7 days, or longer if you join through a partner’s link that offers one). While a trial runs, the things a plan counts have smaller allowances, shown in the app; the plan’s full allowances start when the trial ends. A coaching firm’s trial is currently 7 days too, and during it the firm can work with up to 3 clients; those clients get the firm plan’s full allowances, not the smaller trial allowances. A trial needs a credit or debit card (prepaid cards, including gift cards, can’t start one), and each account and each card can start only one. Unless you cancel before it ends, your card is charged when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app; canceling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods and for one-time purchases (such as an extra dossier) once they’ve been delivered. If something went wrong, write to us at support@vectorjsos.ai; we’ll look at it fairly.
- We may change prices. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription, and it applies from your next renewal.
- Firm plans may be billed to the firm on the terms agreed with it, which take precedence over this section where they differ. The same is true of a company that sponsors people through outplacement, including Direct Assistance, which is priced per person per month with its HR or Recruiting helpers included. BPOs and companies using Vector Global Talent are billed on the terms agreed with each; joining it and taking the assessment are free.
11.Refer & Earn
When someone you refer pays for a plan, you earn a share of each month they pay, at the rates shown in the app when they join Vector through your link. Earnings start with their first paid invoice, never during a trial, and stop if they cancel or a payment fails; what you’ve already earned is kept. We pay through Stripe once you’ve earned at least $25, and Stripe may ask you to verify your identity and provide tax information before it pays you. You may not refer yourself or create accounts to earn rewards, and we may withhold rewards we reasonably believe were earned that way. We may change the rates for new referrals, and we’ll tell you before we do. Rewards are not wages, and you are responsible for any taxes on them. We or Stripe may ask for tax information and issue the tax forms the law requires.
12.Other services
The Service connects to other companies’ services (for example, sign-in, payments, email delivery, AI models, and the job sites you apply through). Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren’t responsible for them. Our Privacy Policy lists the providers that handle your data for us.
13.Our service and our rights
We own the Service, including its software, design and the Vector name and marks. These Terms don’t give you any right to them beyond using the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
We keep improving the Service, which means features change. We’ll give you reasonable notice before we remove something material to a paid plan.
14.Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we must by law, or if we stop offering the Service; unless the reason makes it inappropriate, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your content. After an account is closed we delete its content as described in our Privacy Policy.
15.Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T PROMISE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.
16.Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, NEITHER TORRI GRANGER LLC NOR ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST EARNINGS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US $100.
Some places don’t allow some of these limits; where that’s so, they apply only as far as the law permits.
17.Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because of content you uploaded, messages you sent, or your breach of these Terms, you’ll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees.
18.Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please write to us at info@vectorjsos.ai so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can’t, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to them. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of the place you live.
19.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms; if you don’t, you can cancel and close your account.
20.The rest
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. You can’t transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them with our business. Questions: info@vectorjsos.ai.
21.Credits for information we show
The Career Counselor shows what an occupation usually involves, as background only. This page and the Service include information from the O*NET 31.0 Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). Used under the CC BY 4.0 license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. Vector has modified all or some of this information. USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications.
What we changed: we keep each occupation’s title, description and typical preparation as published; its first six core tasks; and its first five closely related occupations. O*NET’s job titles are used only to find the occupation that matches a path, and are not shown. Nothing is reworded. Questions about it: info@vectorjsos.ai.
